Cinco de Mayo Celebrations

I was out of town last weekend at my husband's graduation ceremony, so I missed Cinco de Mayo. Did any of you go to it? If so, what was it like? If not, tell the class about your weekend.

Farmers' Market

The Midtown Farmers’ Market is once again open for the summer. It is the only farmers’ market I’m aware of that accepts EBT (food stamps).

The market is located at Lake St E & 22nd Ave S in Minneapolis (just west of the Hiawatha light rail line) and its hours are Saturday, 8am–1pm (now ‘til Oct) and Tuesday, 3:30–7:30pm (beginning in June thru Oct).

What is your favorite fruit or vegetable? Click on comments to write your answer.
